The Academy is the BRC Trading brand for its training department which offers a suite of BRC Global Standards and related subject matter training courses delivered through UK trainers and global Approved Trainer Partners (ATPs). The Academy also manages an exam facility for category exams and other BRC training courses. In addition, the Academy offers a range of conferences and industry events worldwide to promote and support BRC Global Standards.

Job purpose

The role of the Approved Training Partner Senior Administrator is to manage, grow and enhance the Approved Training Partner scheme working alongside the Academy team and our international partners. Enhancing internal procedures and streamlining processes to improve efficient of process.

Key Responsibilities

Specifically, the role holder will:

  • Be responsible for the administration of the ATP scheme ensuring systems and processes are efficient, fit for purpose and are adhered to by team members
  • Have line management responsibility for the ATP Administrator including the agreeing and monitoring of objectives in line with the organisation’s Performance Management framework and supporting them in achieving their objectives and personal development
  • Set, manage and deliver the ATP annual budget alongside the Head of the Academy
  • Provide accurate financial and activity reports of our Approved Training Partners on a regular basis and on request
    Work with the BRC Professional Manager to encourage global coverage of all relevant courses delivered by ATPs
  • Manage and enhance the existing compliance programme for the ATP scheme working closely with our Technical team for advice and guidance
  • Working with the Training team to plan and deliver Train the Trainer courses globally
    Work with the Marketing Department and external suppliers as appropriate to develop successful marketing strategies to support our Approved Training Partners
  • Establish a close relationship with ATPs understanding their needs to enhance and develop the ATP scheme and provide an excellent level of customer service

  • Able to demonstrate excellent organisation, administration and time management skills
  • Ideally experienced in working with international markets
  • Ideally proficient in a 2nd European language (Spanish preferred)
  • Able to demonstrate excellent IT skills – experience of Word, Excel and Outlook essential
  • Knowledge or experience of working with a Learning Management System is preferred but not essential
