BRC Global Standards are Recruiting a Product Marketing Executive to manage marketing communications activities for BRC Global Standards

The role


  • Create and implement integrated marketing communications campaigns to promote a range of BRC Global Standards products and services using all aspects of direct response and lead generation marketing
  • Utilise email systems and back-end website CMS
  • Utilise CRM to reach existing and new contacts
  • Development of all marketing collateral - responsible for copywriting for offline mechanisms such as marketing brochures and promotional materials, agree the allocation of marketing spend that will generate the best returns, whilst carefully managing cost
  • The ongoing maintenance of the websites
  • Development of effective copy for digital use through web, social media and SEO etc
  • Proof read all marketing collaterals to ensure consistency with the style and brand guidelines
  • Working closely with colleague’s write, design, build and send all marketing emails
  • Compile detailed market knowledge (including competitor landscape) and use this information to drive the growth of the BRC global Standards
  • Proactively review and improve quality and quantity of data on the in-house database, identify potential research areas and source data in order to reach your target audiences
  • Data selections and manipulation from the in-house databases to ensure that you target the right audience with the right message
  • Reaching markets through the creative use of social media channels. Suggest new ways of utilising SM to greater effect for delegate generation
  • Negotiate quotes with marketing suppliers and manage suppliers providing design, print, mailing, telemarketing etc.
  • Ensure all marketing activities and results are tracked and measured. Analytically test new marketing approaches and apply findings to improve the results of future promotions
  • Review systems and processes and suggest new ideas/ways to improve


  • Experience in a proactive B2B marketing environment with a proven track record of planning and implementing successful sales and marketing campaigns
  • Superb copywriter
  • Relevant degree or post graduate qualification desirable
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, whilst still contributing to a strong team environment
  • A creative thinker and problem solver who takes a proactive and intelligent approach to their work
  • Experience of social media marketing is essential
  • Campaign planning experience is essential
  • Content-led marketing experience essential
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Experience of working with CRM systems, web based email (HTML) software and website CMS
  • Excel skills would be useful
  • PowerPoint presentations skills would be useful
  • A tenacious ‘can do’ approach and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A keen eye for detail
