What is the service?
TELL BRC is an easy way for you to contact BRC Global Standards if you witness any wrongdoing in a BRC certificated site. The service offers a confidential reporting hotline for employees, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to report concerns they may have about a manufacturing site that is certificated against a BRC Global Standard. All incidents will be investigated and resolved in a timely, effective and efficient manner by the BRC Global Standards compliance department.
How does it work?
Because we have certificated sites across the globe, TELL BRC is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year; you can contact us at any time. Calls to +44 (0)20 7717 5959 can be answered in English, Spanish and Mandarin from our London-based call centre. Alternatively you can complete the complaints notification form and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All complaints received will immediately be passed to the BRC’s compliance department, who will ensure a thorough investigation is conducted. A range of sanctions are available to us, and appropriate action can be taken against the site, the certification body or the auditor as necessary.
Why are we offering this service?
The purpose of TELL BRC is to open a confidential communication channel between individuals who work in the retail supply chain, and the BRC, to allow and encourage them to inform us if they should experience wrongdoing at a BRC certificated site.
One of the key aims of the BRC Global Standards compliance department is to ensure that audits are consistent and of a high standard across the globe. We want to have the opportunity to investigate any site that does not appear to merit a BRC certification or the grade it has received, and this service gives our compliance department the ability to track an incident from report to closure as we investigate and resolve any concerns raised.
